Healthy Snacks

Sometimes healthy and delicious snacks are hard to come by and happen to hold a very important place in my heart. So I thought I would share some of my favourite healthy snacks for your to try and enjoy!

This baked oatmeal is a really great snack when you make it in muffin tins or a breakfast food when they are made in big pans like the recipe shows.

These almond butter bars are to die for! Actually delicious and really fulfill those sweet tooth cravings without being overly sugary. The only change I made was only chocolate, I didn't add any almond butter to it.

Roasted chickpeas are a great, high fibre, snack that are easy to take on the go. Although they tend to be really crunchy so not everyone around you may enjoy you eating them. You can also personalize the flavours to match your personal palette. 

Kale chips are a little bit of a trendy healthy snack but they can be surprisingly delicious when made with the right ingredients. These are a little harder to take on the go but are great to enjoy at home. Check out the recipe below.
